furthest on the right in the domain name. Com stands for typically a
commercial company. Com could be replaced by Org which is used to

inside the US domain, .uk means inside the United Kingdom domain etc. So,

In order for InterNIC, the company that registers domain names, to accept a domain name order the domain must be unique (IE Not already taken) and exist on at least two name servers on the internet. In registering your domain name, we will place the domain name that you want on our name servers and then submit the New Domain Name Form To InterNIC for registering. InterNIC will process the request and send you a confirmation by Email. If you don't have an email address, then InterNIC will mail the confirmation to you. That's it.
